Beautifully photographed Mike, I find flowers very hard to photograph. I really like the creamy yellow Primulars, or are they Polyanthus? I have Polyanthus (same colour) in my garden that I raised from seed a few years ago, they flower every year.
Thanks David. The flowers you mention I have always thought to be primroses, they have been in the garden for many years (too many to remember!) They seed themselves and pop up everywhere - I just move them around occasionally.
What a lovely collection of spring flowers! You use such a good variety of colors in your garden. Nothing is blooming here yet except for daffodils, of course. The trees are just beginning to bud out so that's always a good sign of things to come. Thanks for sharing your garden.
Hello Ann, thank you. The colours are more luck than judgement. The flowers in the photos have been in position for many years - the primroses and primulas seed themselves and pop up everywhere, and the azaleas virtually look after themselves, other than a clipping now and again. The weather has been very good here, some rain but also sunshine.
