LIZARD POINT : ENGLANDS MOST SOUTHERLY POINT.

The path above  is leading us to Lizard Point on Cornwall's Lizard Peninsula. This is the most southerly point in England.

The flowers make a colourful contrast to the sea. We were soon at our destination.

There are lovely views,
as the next three photos show

Nearby is the Lizard lighthouse and Heritage Centre. Unfortunately both were closed.

On another walk, the next day, the weather  began to change.

Still in view though was the Heritage Centre

As we reached Housel Bay it started to rain, but the Heritage Centre was still in view

We passed the Housel Bay Hotel, which has fine views of the  the bay, and made our way to find somewhere for lunch

All in all there are lots to see on Cornwall's  Lizard Peninsula

Thanks for visiting my blog
