Another grey day in Cornwall - about 11C / 52F. I was surprised to see this sheep in a house driveway. She must have escaped from the hilly green field in the background. I looked at her, she looked at me - and I think I was the first to blink. Definitely a sheep with attitude!
I think she's already gone far. When I made a return visit later in the day she was nowhere to be seen. So here's a sheep that doesn't follow the leader.
This gave me a good chuckle. Yesterday while driving the countryside nearby, a wayward cow was standing in someone's driveway having escaped through the fence of the pasture. The rest of the herd was standing close by on the other side as if trying to figure out how to get her back. Delightful post, Mike! The sheep is enchanting.
Haha! Thanks Ann. This sheep was on her lonesome. Further up the hill there are often sheep but I didn't see any as I walked by. Funny you should have a similar experience with a farm animal - but at least 'your' herd seemed concerned. I don't know what finally happened to the sheep.
She is cute and very inquisitive standing there looking at you Mike the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence my horse's would love all that beautiful lush grass
This sheep seems to be living her own life. She'll go far ...

ReplyDeleteThanks Kay. Lots of rain so lots of green grass! Yes, the sheep looked quite at home in the driveway.
