Looe, Cornwall On A Cloudy Day

Looe Beach, Cornwall
Yesterday's Post featured Polperro. Just along the coast is Looe. The photo was taken on a cloudy day, just before the rain arrived. But people still looked for treasures along the beach.

  1. Wonderful, deep colors on your great photo, and a very pleasant scene. I was wondering if you might be going up to Looe or down to Fowey:-) By the looks on my map, Polperro was right in the middle.

    1. My gosh, Ann, you are getting quite the expert on Cornwall :-) We actually returned home (to St.Austell) via Lostwithiel.

We could have, though, wiggled our way through narrow roads to Polruan - which is featured in tomorrow's post (Mon 11th Feb). But that would have meant we would have had to get the Bodinnick Ferry across the Fowey River to Fowey.

  2. Haha, far from an expert but finally decided that I needed to see a map of Cornwall to fully understand the area as seen in your posts😊

  3. Cloudy maybe but I like the dramatic light and reflections.

    1. Thanks David. I guess it's a change from the typical Cornwall photos which are usually sand and blue skies.
