I have previously published blogs on Cornwall's Eden Project but the the following photos are new from a couple of days ago.
The first photo is of Eden's Biomes, once a china clay pit.
Next below is the concert area.
Flowers ...
as I headed towards the Mediterranean Biome.
Moving on: two photos from inside the Rainforest Biome.
Another stroll around the Mediterranean Biome prior to leaving the Eden Project.
All good wishes ~ Mike.
Several biomes in one place! A fantastic experience!
ReplyDeleteHi Mike, good to see a new post from you and we'll worth waiting for.
ReplyDeleteThe plants and flowers in the biome are fantastic and in such perfect condition. If I lived nearby I'd be in there regularly, don't know if Popcorn would be welcome though. Your photos do them justice, really colourful, I especially enjoyed the early one with the terracotta urns. Very Mediteranian looking. I've meant to ask, do you use a camera or, like many folk, do you use your mobile phone?
Take care Mike, warm weather almost here, David & Popcorn.
Hello David, thanks for the kind words. We have a 'Locals pass' so can visit frequently. As for Popcorn our son takes his dog (and his children!)
DeleteI use a small camera Olympus-SZ-3MR , it is quite old now. I'm not into mobile phones, though I have one mostly only for family calls My son uses his phone for photos and gets some good pics.
Trust all is okay, good wishes.
There was talk in 2016 when I was in Hobart, Tasmania, that an Eden Project was going to be built on some vacant land in the CBD, but now I see that a football stadium has been given the go ahead, so an AFL team from Tasmania can enter the national competition in a few years' time.
ReplyDeleteI guess if I want to see an Eden Project in my lifetime, I will have to visit Cornwall.
