I am in Charlestown, Cornwall again, one of my favourite places. Unfortunately necessary work is being carried out so some of the areas are temporarily restricted.
The photo at the top of the post is of the Pier House and below is a cottage that caught my eye.
A few people gathered on one of the two small beaches.
Moving on to part of the harbour walls, which are temporarily out of bounds.
Moving on visitors walking alongside the green water.
And carrying on walking.
Cannons at the ready |
Thanks for visiting my blog ~ Mike.

Hi Mike, good to see your photo's from Charkestown, a favourite place of all the lovely posts you share with us. I regret not going there when we visited Cornwall many years ago
ReplyDeleteTake care, David and Popcorn
Glad to see that you're posting again Mike.
ReplyDeleteOn Friday at the cinema I picked up a flyer for a movie called 'The Salt Path' starring Gillian Anderson from 'The X-Files'.
It's about, " the true story of husband and wife, Raynor and Moth Winn’s 630-mile trek along the beautiful but rugged Cornish, Devon and Dorset coastline. After being forcibly removed from their home, they make the desperate decision to walk in the hope that, in nature, they will find solace and a sense of acceptance. With depleted resources, only a tent and some essentials between them, every step along the path is a testament to their growing strength and determination."
I'm looking forward to seeing your part of the world on an Australian cinema screen soon.
Cheers, and keep walking ... and posting :-)
