A SHORT WALK FROM CARLYON BAY

Beach at Carlyon Bay, Cornwall
One end of Carlyon Bay beach
We were out and about this morning and decided to include a walk starting at Carlyon Bay. This partly runs alongside the Carlyon Bay Golf Club course and on the right is the sea.

The path is a right of way and can be used by the public.

From the golf course, looking inland, Cornwall's White Pyramid can be seen.

We walked along to Spit Beach and then decided to retrace our footsteps.

Did I mention that the path was somewhat muddy in places ...

    1. Hello Heather, thanks. During the night it had rained quite heavily so the path was very muddy in parts with a few puddles. We like to walk whenever possible.

  2. Delightful walk. I love seeing the tapestries made by the fields and borders. The colors are so rich and varied and look great with the skies. In all but the driest days of summer our paths and trails are somewhat muddied, particularly in the woodlands. I have slipped and landed on a knee, but fortunately have never gone over the edge of a cliff😊

    1. Thank you Ann. It's so nice to get out and walk somewhere even if the paths are quite muddy. I've been lucky and haven't toppled over a cliff so far! Overnight there had been a lot of heavy rain.

    1. Thanks David. We tend to spend a lot of time walking stretches of the coastal path. I like to see the sea!
