WALKING TO THE LOVELY KYNANCE COVE, CORNWALL

Following on from my previous post, we are still on Cornwall's Lizard Peninsula. This time Visiting Kynance Cove, which is signposted on the A3083

The cove is a walk from the car park. The photo below shows the cove's cafe and it can be seen that it's a bit of a downward stretch from where the cars are parked.

There is  wheelchair access to the cafe. - no! not the route shown below!

We wandered towards the cove. It was a lovely sunshine day.

At last the sea comes into view, famed for its colour and white sand.

More sea and sand below.

The cafe is now in view. We had a coffee!

The next five photos are of the sea and beaches.

There was some work being carried out on the cliffs, presumably for safety reasons.

All in all  the visit to Kynance Cove was an  interesting walk and well worth the effort - and the sky stayed blue, as did the sea.

Thanks for visiting my blog ~ Mike.

  1. You sure do live in a nice part of the world Mike ... as do I here in Australia.
This post makes me want to go for a seaside walk and have a coffee along the way in one of our seaside suburbs in Brisbane/Logan/The Gold Coast, and shake off the winter chill.
    Cheers again Mike.

  2. Lovely photos and beaches Mike, good to see some sunshine. The trip down to the cafe looks a bit of an ordeal, whichever route you took. It makes me wonder how they get their supplies?
Popcorn has been poorly and has been diagnosed with Addisons Desease. He much better now he's on corrective medication but must remain on it for the rest of his life, which should be the notnal span for a Poodle.
Take care Mike, David & Popcorn.

  3. Hello David, first I was so sad to hear the news about Popcorn I hope all goes well for him.

There is a path for wheel chairs from the car park so -the cafe suppliers can use this quit e easily.

    Good wishes to Popcorn.

    1. Thanks for your concerns regarding Popcorn. He's doing OK now but it was touch & go for a while. Good thing I have him insured. David.
